As the Tomcat finished repairs and resupply at Deep Space 10, the new orders meant the ship had to return to more familiar Federation space. So, bidding a farewell, the USS Tomcat undocked from Deep Space 10 and headed out of the system. "Helm set heading for Deep Space 6 in the Tarod System, Maximum Cruise speed", Somers ordered.
"Aye, aye, Captain. Tarod System and Deep Space 6 locked in", Ensign Robert Barker said.
"Engage" With that, the USS Tomcat entered warp.
"Donovan, have Major Markov, Captains Joseph Tabor and Samuel Jones report to my ready room, please", Somers said.
"Yes, Sir", Donovan replied. =/\= Bridge to Major Markov and Captains Jones and Tabor, report to the Captain's Ready Room, bridge out =/\= With that, Jasmine left the bridge and entered her Ready Room.

After preparing stuff, Jasmine read over a report until a chime was heard, putting the Padd down. "Enter, she said.
In walked her XO and the Two Fighter Pilots, one being her CAG, the other a Wing Commander. "Greetings, gents, do be seated, she said and waited till all were seated "I am guessing, as are you, wondering why I have called the three of you here?" She asked.
"I'm guessing a mission requiring some fighter support." Joe smiled. He noticed Captain Jones suddenly brightening up. He would have to keep an eye on him. He was a bit of a hot dog. Before coming to the USS Tomcat, he had seen many 'hotdogs', most of them had a 'plaque of honour' on their squadron walls...Yet he had made M-Captain. Joe would see. The Tomcat was getting some repairs when Joe Tabor showed up with twenty-five new fighters and pilots. The problem was that there should have been thirty. His former XO was the cause of it. Just before landing the fighters on the transport carrier, the Hiryu, 1st Lt. Bradly decided his squadron needed more practice.
It was an unauthorised exercise that ended with Brady and one of the junior pilots losing their lives. Because he was not privy to the details, he had only had to give a short statement to the investigators...Some had to have pulled stings, top side. Which led to the next question: why did the brass want someone who hadn't been in the cockpit of a fighter for three years on this ship? He had been a fighter instructor and had seen a little action in his day, but it wasn't like he was an ace from the Dominion War. Well, I made no difference...He still needed to keep an eye on his CAG
