Time away from work....

Vivian was on a leave of absence since she had not had a chance to do any sort of rest or relaxation since joining the crew of the Tomcat. She also had some seminars that she was conducting some panel discussed for and some colleagues that she was hoping to catch up with at a few of them.

She caught her transport to Earth for the first of her seminars where she would attend sessions related to Bynar physiology and medical treatments. She had been told by Dodd that Bynars would involved in a project he was working on and a pair would be assigned to Starbase 51. She felt this would be a good time to get up to speed on their species in a medical sense. While on Earth, she would conduct two panel discussions at to different seminars and even attend a graduation ceremony at Starfleel Medical where she would be honored with her graduating class for their reunion.

After her trip was finished on Earth, she would return to the Starbase and await getting back to the Tomcat. She felt that the time on Earth would be great for her and help her get ready for the future holds. She would like to get more hands on for field work with away teams but that was up to the XO when picking his team. She would also take this time to do some weapons training as she did not do more than the basics in the academy.

So her transport arrived at the Starbase and departed so it would be about two weeks for her to be on Earth before having to return to her duties. She would be looking forward to all the food and the atmosphere on Earth in the mean time.
