Dodd departed Commodore Somer's quarters and headed to his lab on the starbase where he kept a uniform. He maintained a small engineering lab on the station which he retrofitted into a part of the base that was not utilized for any sort of other purpose. He worked with the station's previous commodores to keep a lab and he would then help out the station's tenants and vendors to fix odds and ends. Also, because he turned over Rocky to the arboretum for care, Dodd feels like he can then claim the station as a home base of operations.

Once in his lab, he changes into his uniform and double checks his PADD. The Binars will be expecting him in fifteen minutes and this was the day they would be sharing with him the decision of the Kavis Alpha IV Nanite Collective with regards to his Starfleet Adaptive Nanite Suit project. So he needed to be punctual as he wanted to get the project launched into use for a trial on the Tomcat.

After a few minutes of mentally preparing his mind, Dodd then headed to the office that the Binars were assigned on the Administrative Level. So Dodd then got in a lift and rode it to the top. Once there he headed to the ambassadors' suite to visit the Binars in their office.

The door chimed signalled and 11 A and 11 B granted access. Then the door opened and allowed Dodd to step inside. Once the door closed, The Binars begin the meeting.

"Greetings" 11 A stated, "Commander Dodd" 11 B added.
"We are glad" 11 A continued, "you have arrived." 11 B finished.

"Glad to be here with you as well." Dodd replied. "I am honored to have been called here while I am on the station for shoreleave."

"We have been in communications with the Kavis Alpha Nanite Collective." 11 A stated. "We have explained all of your progress to the collective." 11 B added.
"They wanted to share with you" 11 A added, "How pleased they are with your work." 11 B continued.
"They have told us some news" 11 A continued. "that you will likely find pleasant." 11 B added.
"You have been granted permission to move into a trail phase." 11 A & B stated in perfect unison.
"You can test the suits starting today," 11 A stated, "for any mission trials or experimental purposes." 11 B added.
"Your trial period will end," 11 A continued, "After you concluded your next five missions." 11 B added.

"That is wonderful news, Thank you." Dodd replied with a bit of excitement in his voice. He was attempting to refrain from too much emotion as the Binars did not like that. "I appreciate you keeping me on my toes for this project. I do have prototypes available for the command staff and the department heads on the Tomcat and will work with our new captain and the new XO to move forward with this trial period." Dodd added.

"We are pleased," 11 A replied, "that you are able to start the trial." 11 B added.
"We must also tell you," 11 A continued, "that you must have reports filed," 11 B added, "after each mission or experimental test." 11 A continued, "The suits should generate data profiles for your reports." 11 B concluded.

"I actually factored data collection into the programming of the suits nanites and they will also uplink all the data to the closest Starfleet vessel's computer core and then transfer that date to the Tomcat all automatically." Dodd stated. "I added that to the programming just the other day after the data was provided to you for your reporting to the Kavis Alpha Nanite Collective."

"That is good to know." 11 A replied. "The Nanite Collective will be happy at your innovation." 11 B added.

"I am looking forward to sending you the reports after every part of the next phase." Dodd stated.

"Thank you for attending," 11 A replied, "this meeting with us." 11 B concluded.

"It was my pleasure to meet with you once again." Dodd replied. "I will bid you good day and take my leave. I will tell my peers on the Tomcat tomorrow when I will likely see them next."

The Binars then turned towards one another and did their chirping and beeping as they stored the data from this meeting into their data devices for long term storage.

Dodd then turned and exited their office with a large smile on his face. He would tell Hawksley first thing tomorrow when he has his meeting wit him. Dodd then went to the arboretum to see Rocky for the next hour as he did miss him.
