Mission Summary

The USS Tomcat, fresh off its last mission, is tasked with finding out about some recently unknown signals that are coming from deep in the unclaimed area next to the Mira Sector, the system was out in the Taurus Dark Cloud, and very little beyond this was known about the area and this was the area an out of date Radio Signal came from, as it travelled at Lightspeed it had been travelling for around five-hundred years to reach the Mira Sector.

After a long process of study, Starfleet decided to dispatch the Tomcat, this would be a First Contact situation if they proved to be warp capable, if not an anthropological team would be tasked to observe the species.
