History

Personal History Serina was born on Earth in California on the Miramar Air Force base. It was still being used for most fighters that were still waiting to be deployed to different Starfleet ships. She practically grew up in the seat of a fighter. With both parents who were exceptional pilots, she learned all about flying at a very young age. Her love of flying also got her into trouble on the base. Without permission she took one of the fighters for a joy ride.

When she landed 2 hours later, not only were her parents there but so was the base commander. Serina regretted the consequences of her little joy ride
It got her 6 months in the brig and busted down to crewman. She was already an ensign but now...she lost what she loved the most...flying! She didn't mind about the rank but to stay 6 months in the brig and not fly was way to much...but it did start her on her future career in Starfleet.

Being a Starfleet brat her time in the Academy should have been a breeze but was far from it. Serina was introduced to a new way of life, and living it was harder than hell. All the nicknames and the unwanted attention and the pressure from her instructors caused her to rebel. Again she took a fighter for a joy ride without permission and paid the price. Only this time they sent her to a counselor to see what was the underlying cause for her rebellious nature.

After a few sessions, the counselor found the cause and suggested that she get a specialized course that would help her turn around her life. As it turned out, this course did in fact help her. With a renewed sense of confidence, she overcame her rebellious nature and budded into a brilliant student and an accomplished pilot. Graduating in the top 5% of her class of 300 students, she received top honors from her instructors.

Service Record

Service Record She was assigned to the USS Audubon as a Lt. Jg. and to the privileged Flight Leader status. Serina was tickled pink at her posting and realized a dream become to reality. She served with distinction for several years till the ship was destroyed and her squadron was ordered back to SB321 for reassignment.
