General Overview		Charlotte is a rescue from a Borg sphere and has been reintegrated into society. Starfleet was able to remove all her implants except for the one at the base of her neck and the one at the small of her back. Charlotte was born paralyzed and these implants allow her to continue to walk.

History

Personal History

Born aboard the USS Derringer, Charlotte had a short life as a human. She was born with a spine defect that did not allow her to walk and the Derringer was not equipped for an operation of the magnitude necessary. The ship was in deep space and thus unable to return home.

At the age of 10, she was assimilated by the Borg when the Derringer was ambushed. She served there until age 17 when the sphere was damaged and she was able to escape. A passing Federation starship heard her distress call and rescued her.
