Personality & Traits

General Overview		Clay as he likes to be called, is a fun loving down to earth sort of guy. He is in a relationship but he is bisexual and has permission to get his urges when he wants to be with other men. He also likes to be naked whenever possible and so his is very fit and toned.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Strengths: Works well under pressure, likes to be challenged, tries very hard to step off on the right foot first as he knows the first impression is the one that matters. Weaknesses: can be clumsy if he over thinks himself when being observed but has proven himself to get to the point when under the pressure of a deadline.
Ambitions		Would like to move up in Starfleet and maybe one day be the head of the Engineering School at the Academy or have a huge family and settle down on a world that he and his possible future wife would consider paradise.
Hobbies & Interests		He likes to tinker with all things mechanical and likes to really work on engines of all sorts. He likes to rock climb, snorkle and scuba dive, and fancies adventures on the Holodeck that involve tropical locations and he rather likes being a naturalist and sheds his clothes when he can. He likes to have his solitude and so while he does make friends easily, he does like to have his alone time to reflect on the loss of his family and to be able to unwind and release the burdens of stress.

History

Personal History

He was born on Mars and raised by a family who found him in the wreckage of a crashed shuttle on T'Rukhemai.

He was the middle son out of three but the third child born out of four. Michael, Jr. and Ashleigh were twins born three years before him. Then Anthony was born three years later.

When Clay was 6, his family was visiting T'Rukhemai and were at a popular tourist site of the colony when and horrible accident resulted in the shuttle his family was on to crash. He parents and his two brothers were killed at the time of the crash. However, Ashleigh and Clay were thrown from the crash site and landed in some sort of quick sand. While he was able to get himself free, Ashleigh eventually drowned in the substance. It was about two days later when a search party found six year old Clay barely clothed and covered in dirt sitting at the edge of the area where his sister downed.

He was placed in foster care as he had no other known living relatives to care for him. At the time he was old enough to enter the academy he did so. Now he is a young engineering technician on the Tomcat looking for adventure, friendship and whatever comes his way.

Service Record

Graduated in the top 50% of his class from the Academy.

Ordered to report to Pacifica to await his first official duty assignment, but while on Pacifica he worked with some of the engineers there to fix replicator systems.

Got his first official assignment to serve on the USS Tomcat.
Boarded the Tomcat while it was at Starbase 39 the same time LT jg Dodd took over Engineering.
