Personal History

Born July 1, 2369 in Calgary, Alberta, Earth. Tate’s early life was defined by intensive dance training under her mother. She specialized in contemporary and highly expressive, sensual styles of performance, developing the strength, flexibility, and body control that later made her an exceptional pilot. She entered Starfleet Academy in 2387 and was quickly identified for the fighter pilot track due to her outstanding spatial orientation and reaction scores. After graduating in 2391 she served with the 30th Combat Air Wing (TC). Her dual skill set in both fighter combat and larger vessel flight control led to her dual assignment as Flight Control Officer and active Fighter Pilot when she transferred to the USS Tomcat in 2395.
