| Physical Description | Elora has the kind of athletic build that comes from years of zero-G combat drills and enough time in the ship's gym to make the weight equipment groan. Her long chestnut-brown hair is usually tied back in a no-nonsense braid, though strands inevitably escape during away missions. Green eyes that shift between amused and assessing, depending on whether you're her friend or the poor bastard who just screwed up a landing pattern. A faint scar curves from her left temple to her cheekbone (a souvenir from that plasma conduit incident) but she'll grin and tell you it's from "a bar fight with a Klingon, and, I won” if you’re dumb enough to ask. |

Personality & Traits
| General Overview | Elora runs her platoon with the kind of fairness that makes enlisted Marines actually want to follow her into a firefight. She’s quick to laugh, quicker to roast someone for a dumb mistake (herself included), and has a habit of handing out Terran-style pizza rations as rewards for good work, despite the fact that half the crew insists they taste like cardboard. But cross her or hers, and that easygoing demeanor evaporates. She doesn’t shout; she just gets quiet, and that’s when you know you’re in trouble. Off-duty, you’ll find her in the mess hall arm-wrestling ensigns or debating whether pre-Reform Vulcan poetry is actually deep or just "emotional constipation with extra steps.” When time allows it Elora eventually makes it to her quarters. She shares this space with her fiance. It is here she is most at peace and lets herself simply be herself. Partaking in movie nights, trying to make home cooked meals (a work in progress), or just catching up with her partner on current events. These are by far her happiest moments of the day. |

History
| Personal History | Born on a Martian orbital colony to a pair of engineers who worked on the Sol Defense Grid, Elora grew up surrounded by the hum of fusion reactors and the occasional crackle of solar flare warnings. She enlisted straight out of secondary school, not out of some grand patriotic fervor, but because she'd spent her whole life watching starships dock and undock from the orbital platforms and wanted to be the one giving the orders for once. The Academy sanded down her rough edges but never quite broke her habit of calling superiors "boss" when she thought she could get away with it. |
